How to choose your bike?

Choosing a bike depends primarily on your intended use, body type, and budget.

🚴 1. Bike Type

📏 2. Frame Size

  • Frame size depends on your height. Consult the manufacturer's size guide.
  • Generally: XS (155-165 cm), S (165-170 cm), M (170-180 cm), L (180-190 cm), XL (190+ cm).

🔧 3. Key Components

  • Hydraulic Brakes: more powerful and precise than mechanical brakes. Recommended for MTB.
  • Drivetrain (gears): 1x, 2x or 3x chainrings depending on the terrain. Shimano, SRAM or Campagnolo.
  • Suspension: suspension fork (hardtail) or full suspension (full-suspension) for MTB.
  • Tires: width adapted to the terrain (25-28mm road, 40-50mm gravel, 2.0-2.5" MTB).

💰 4. Budget

  • Under 500€: beginner, occasional use.
  • 500 – 1,500€: regular rider, quality components.
  • 1,500€+: intensive use, competition, premium materials.
